  1. I believe the sequence of events was:
    1 Jesus dipped the morsel and gave it to Judas
    2 Satan entered the heart of Judas
    *3. Jesus told Judas “Be quick about what you are to do”
    4. Judas ate the morsel.
    *5. Judas went out
    It is true that Judas did “leave the first Mass early,’
    but it is also true that Jesus told him to do so.
