    1. Lisa, I just looked it up but the “free sample” became a an infomercial and I became impatient. I don’t think
there is any doubt that music has a therapeutic value, but I can’t comment on Wholetones. Do you have an opinion?
I do remember Father Garrigou-LaGrange commenting that the chanting of the Psalms by monks can even lead in the direction
of contemplative prayer (see The Three Ages of the Interior Life). I personally have found Christian music to be very
      healing.

  1. I “stumbled” upon your beautiful reflective pieces. I put the word in quotes because I believe the Lord often guides our “stumbles”.Thank you for your obviously deep Catholic Christian faith and your desire to share it. Please contact me. I would like to discuss a thought.

    1. Art, You could highlight and copy it over to Word or even your email and print it there. I’ve done that myself. However, I would be
careful with works of art, so you may be better off skipping the picture to avoid any legal claims.

      God bless you,

      1. Tom would happen to know of the “Son of Man’ prophecies that were printed in the Catholic New Covenant Magazine back in the 70-80’s. I have been wanting to have a copy of those for a long time as I believe they are coming true with each day that passes by.

      2. Ann, I am familiar with the biblical term, “Son of Man,” but not with the exact prophecies you
are referring to. If you find them, please pass them on. Perhaps Ralph Martin at Renewal Ministries
would know because I seem to remember that he was affiliated with New Covenant.

  2. Dear Tom,

Could you put me on your email for any further articles that you post so that I may grow closer to God through your spiritual journey . I especially appreciate you giving references and for further reading .

I have already forwarded your article to a friend who needed your words to help her describe her experience .

Finally thank you for describing prayer in clear practical steps with the help of St. John of the cross :-). My daughter is often frustrated when Christians use the words hope , faith and love without defining it in concrete terms. In our day and age platitudes are boundaries to meaningful conversation about God.
